We maintain an internal record of venue-specific requirements across the country, so we handle almost all of this behind the scenes without you ever needing to worry about it. Our state-of-the-art 'Silent Stage' setup uses ultra-low stage volume and matched digital rigs, meaning we can effortlessly adapt to strict venue noise limiters or smaller performance spaces without compromising on our massive live sound. The only foundational things we typically verify are that the venue can supply a standard 13A domestic power circuit and has a clear, flat access pathway for our wheeled touring equipment racks. If your venue has any highly unusual access restrictions or unique setup policies, just let us know so we can seamlessly bake it straight into our automated logistics plan.

We much prefer to communicate directly with you to keep things personal, but we have worked seamlessly with many event planners and coordinators over the years. We typically don't need any formal contact with the venue staff until we arrive on the night. Once we pull up on site, our dedicated sound technician, Roddy, will immediately liaise with your venue coordinator or wedding planner to handle on-site instructions and ensure a smooth setup. This keeps your day entirely hassle-free, allowing us to manage the staging footprint silently while you focus on enjoying the evening.

Because we're an active, busy band, we maintain a close network of incredibly talented, professional 'dep' musicians who can step in if one of us gets sick. If an emergency happens on the day, we can get a backup lined up straight away. Plus, booking through Coast Entertainments gives us an extra safety net, since they have access to tons of top-tier artists. The only real exception is our frontman, Chris—he’s the heart of our sound and would only ever miss a gig in a total emergency. If that ever happened, we’d ensure a phenomenal lead vocalist took his place so your dancefloor stays packed.

The exact second we arrive on site, Roddy immediately liaises with your venue coordinator or wedding planner to confirm access. Once access is agreed, our strict 60-minute technical countdown begins. If your guests are in the performance room during this time, they won't see chaotic cable runs or loud, disruptive gear testing; instead, they’ll witness a highly refined, slick setup process executed by a team wearing smart, branded uniforms. Within that single hour, our entire digital rig is quietly rolled into place, the 'Silent Stage' line-checks are completed, and all performers complete their vocal warm-ups and change into their stage attire. It’s a completely streamlined, highly professional transition that happens entirely on autopilot behind the scenes.

If your performance is scheduled to start at 8:00pm, our technical setup window is strictly locked in for 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Our standard protocol is to arrive on site at 6:30pm, which provides a clean 30-minute buffer for Roddy to liaise with the venue staff. Early setups can absolutely be accommodated, though these are handled on a per-case basis and incur an additional fee. The only venue factors that dynamically alter our arrival logistics are long, narrow staircases, as our high-end digital production is entirely housed in heavy, wheeled touring flight cases.

When it comes to sound restrictions, our sound technician, Roddy, completely handles all technical matters regarding noise limiters directly from the front-of-house desk. Because we are a100% live band, we perform with a real acoustic drum kit which naturally forms the baseline lower limit of our stage volume. However, Roddy is equipped with professional drum dampening methods to tightly control acoustic transients and comply with venue regulations whenever required. Furthermore, because we run an ultra-modern, 'Silent Stage' backline with high-end Line 6 Helix digital guitar processors and personal in-ear monitors (IEMs), we use zero physical guitar amplifiers on stage. This complete elimination of amplified stage volume gives us unmatched precision control over our master Front of House mix, allowing your guests to experience a full, rich, and high-energy 'wall of sound' without ever tripping the venue's limiters.

We perform in high-quality, smart clothing on stage, giving each member the freedom to express their own personal style within a clean, professional baseline. We make it an absolute rule that everyone is exceptionally well-dressed, groomed, and presentable. If your wedding or corporate function has a specific theme or color palette, we are always happy to coordinate our look upon request to fit your aesthetic perfectly. 

We don't use a rigid, preset list because reading the room live is our superpower. Our set is flexible, allowing the band to change direction and transition between tracks completely seamlessly. Dispersed throughout the night, we deploy a series of highly interactive segments - from conga lines and crowd sing-alongs to clap-alongs- specifically designed to transition through different age groups and keep the dancefloor fresh. Because we are a 100% live, no-click band, our tempo breathes naturally with the crowd's energy, giving our band leader the absolute freedom to pivot the set dynamically on a dime based entirely on the people in front of us.

We deliberately structure the entire evening around a carefully designed roadmap of peaks, keeping our energy sustained in the higher end of the scale throughout the performance. Instead of treating the night as a flat line of music, we work in waves that constantly refresh the dancefloor, building momentum across the sets. This deliberate pacing leads directly into a massive, emotional crescendo in the final 20 minutes or so of the night, ensuring the event finishes at its absolute peak. Our set list framework is built to manage the vibe of the room, ensuring that our performance breathing space and breaks are perfectly placed to maintain maximum crowd energy from the first note to the final song.

Any crowd requests on the night itself are taken directly by our sound technician, Roddy, at the front-of-house desk. If a guest requests a track that is already in our extensive master, Roddy will instantly notify the band leader to look for a clean break to slide it into the performance queue. In the event that a guest requests a song we don't know or don't have the live instrumentation for, Roddy handles it with absolute care - he will usually offer a similar live alternative that keeps the party moving or seamlessly add the original track into our upcoming break playlist. This ensures your guests feel completely looked after at the front of the stage while protecting the high-energy momentum of your dancefloor from any awkward or sudden drops in vibe.

Our lead singer, Chris, operates as a high-tier performer rather than just a traditional vocalist, driving the energy of the room with constant, engaging crowd interaction directly during the songs. We deliberately keep standard, dry microphone talk to an absolute minimum, choosing instead to let the music flow seamlessly through the evening. When we do speak, it will be to deliver the odd bit of banter that unites the room. We are also completely happy to handle any specific announcements or master-of-ceremonies duties you request beforehand.

We approach schedule shifts and unexpected venue issues with absolute flexibility. We adapt on the fly, whether dealing with late-running meals, sudden timeline changes, or technical snags. For example, at a recent wedding, the external furniture supplier suffered a vehicle puncture. As we were there for an acoustic set, we stepped in, used our own van to complete a second trip to move their ceremony chairs from their garden wedding to the reception venue right after dropping off our production gear, and kept the entire day perfectly on track. This resilient approach means we don't stall when plans change; we manage disruptions quietly behind the scenes so that your experience remains completely unbothered and seamless.

8:30pm - Finding the Room's Rhythm

If you look across the room right now, you'll see us hitting the tail end of our intro section. We've established the vibe, and this is where we really start playing with the dynamics of the room - reading the crowd, feeling out what makes your guests tick, and locking in the energy for the rest of the night.

10:00pm - The Buffet Break Revival

Fresh back from the evening buffet and the bar, guests can sometimes need a gentle nudge to get moving again. We kick off our second set with a massive conga line. It's a fun, zero-pressure way to break the ice post-break and physically pull everyone away from the tables and back onto the floor before they even realize it.

11:30pm - The Emotional High

This is peak nostalgia and pure energy. We launch into the big singalong anthems that everyone knows every word to. The focus here is entirely on channeling the collective emotional energy of the day, building a massive, unforgettable crescendo that sets up the perfect finale.

We close the night by bringing that anthemic energy to an absolute crescendo, usually culminating in a massive rendition of Loch Lomond.

By the time the final chords ring out, the dancefloor is an absolute sea of emotion. You’ll look around and see sore feet, happy tears, and everyone locked arm-in-arm, hugging and singing their hearts out at the top of their lungs.

We don't just stop playing; we aim to leave you and your guests with an overwhelming, core-memory high that you'll be talking about for years to come.

We are happy to accommodate special requests within reason. We will consult with you before the event to get an idea of your taste in music and we will infuse this to our carefully cultivated party set to provide you the best night possible!

We are happy to take requests and if we know the song we are happy to accommodate.  We may even be able to pull some songs off on the fly if it’s something we’ve never played together.

The moment we receive your first dance request, it instantly hits our rehearsal pipeline where our team arranges it and records a custom demo to send directly to you for approval. We firmly believe that a great first dance choice is simply the one that has the most emotion attached to it, which is why we always advise choosing the song that means the most to you over traditional 'standards.' We are entirely dedicated to accommodating deep personal touches - whether that means our guitarist performing your three custom requests on a specific dream guitar bought as a surprise wedding gift, or arranging a TV display for a moving tribute video during a brother/sister dance. While a tricky song choice is usually just one where a track's studio instrumentation doesn't translate natively to a live five-piece band, we mitigate this completely by discussing your choices in depth ahead of time. We'll advise exactly how to best approach the performance while flawlessly mapping out your specific timeline cues like cake cutting, entrance music, or timed dancer introductions to the floor.

We will attempt to create a version of any and every song request we receive, as we never refuse a song choice outright. At the absolute minimum, we will always provide a beautiful acoustic arrangement to ensure your choice is covered. We use our detailed discussions ahead of time to set completely realistic expectations with you, explaining openly how we might translate complex tracks - like substituting a string melody with a live guitar section, or sharing our creative vision for how our live five-piece band can organically perform an electronic trance song. This collaborative approach ensures we can adapt to your vision while maintaining the 100% live integrity of the performance.

We are completely open to any and all requests to create truly memorable moments, and you can expect us to jump on the mere suggestion of an idea you might have. To make the night completely your own, we have structured our live sets to include several highly interactive segments, ranging from conga lines and clap-alongs to crowd sing-alongs and sing-offs. While these specific segments are planned into our modular framework, they are entirely unique to each and every crowd. No two performances are ever the same, as the energy and direction are completely dependent on the people in the room on the night.

We always formally announce you onto the dancefloor to kick off the evening with your first dance. Because every wedding is unique, we discuss the opening moments directly with you or your planner on the night so that the pacing fits your vision exactly. We will always ask how much of the first dance you want to yourselves; if you prefer to leave it to us, Chris reads the room and dynamically manages the transition to bring your guests in at the perfect emotional moment, allowing our front-of-the-room presentation to remain completely adaptive, polished, and focused entirely on you.

In addition to our evening entertainment, we can add in our unique take on a traditional Ceilidh with our superstar drummer, John, also being proficient in playing a marching snare and our frontman Chris calling the dances. 

We also offer an acoustic duo set for your  drinks reception to get the vibes going early!

Our entire system is fully integrated, meaning the handover between our live band performance and the custom DJ set is completely instant and seamless. There is zero dead air, no awkward technical lag, and no distinct changeover period to stall the room's momentum. The exact second the full live band executes its final chord, our digital backbone routes the high-energy party tracks directly through our active Front of House PA system. This immediate technical transition keeps your dancefloor completely packed and roaring, shifting the room's energy seamlessly into the night on absolute autopilot.

When we look out at the end of the night and see a room full of people grinning, hugging, and completely swept up in the moment, we know we’ve done our job. The thing that catches couples by surprise the most is how seamlessly we adapt to the room and how much energy Chris brings to the floor.

Couples often tell us they didn't expect a live band to be that interactive, or that they were amazed by how tightly we play together while keeping the energy levels through the roof. They love that our song choices seem to hit perfectly every time, but mostly, they're surprised by our adaptability - how we can read the room in real-time and tweak the vibe on the fly to keep everyone hooked from the first note to the last.

Our absolute favorite memory has to be our very first visit to Balogie House.

We had just spent a long time refining the entire performance side of our business - honing the crowd interaction, perfecting the setlists, and getting our show exactly where we wanted it. For three and a half hours (only interrupted by the evening buffet), the dancefloor was absolutely packed wall-to-wall with around 150 guests.

Every single interactive spot Chris hit landed perfectly, the crowd's energy was vibrant, and to top it all off, there were Highland cows roaming the field right next to the marquee. It was the perfect, surreal Scottish wedding moment where everything we had worked on completely clicked into place.

When a booking contract is confirmed we create an itinerary entry for the date to store all the clients unique requests and needs. 

Our contact is intentionally kept minimal until the 8-week run-in, as we want to let you enjoy the lead-up to your big day without being bombarded with admin. When that 8-week mark hits, we kick off our formal detailing process and are completely happy to communicate over whatever platform suits you best, whether that's WhatsApp, phone, email, text, or Messenger. We treat every single client as our absolute priority, and our main goal is to be the most low-maintenance, stress-free part of your entire event footprint. Because our team is highly adaptive, we can seamlessly cater to a wide range of unique requests, ensuring your night feels entirely personal while running completely on autopilot behind the scenes.

To keep your wedding day as stress-free as possible, we finalize every technical detail and timeline weeks before the event. Because we have everything in place ahead of time, we don't require any confirmations or check-ins on the morning of the gig. If we happen to have a particularly long drive to your venue, our band leader will drop you a reassuring text when we hit the road just to let you know we're on our way.
